Well.... I have returned to school. I am unsure about this living situation. Veronica seems swept away by her friends from her sorority and is off with them- and I feel rather left out. Most of the other girls are shut away in their own rooms. A girl named Danielle seems very nice but rather loud. I think I will like her. But she is not rooming with anybody she knew last year, which makes me a little worried that there is a reason for this. But I guess I should form my own judgements. I just feel so isolated in this dormitory. We will see though.

I hate suite drama. T and Alison. T owes Allison cable money, and a room key and eveything. T won't talk to Allison so Allison goes to the RA, like we are supposed to. And T gets pissed and starts threatening Allison, and so Allison now lives in my room. And people are actually taking T's side. T. Who is quite possibly the most horrible person to ever walk the planet. Who has already broken one person's jaw because she gets drunk ( and when I say drunk I mean mean drunk) every night and has also been arrested for assault in another instance. It makes me angry at T. And at the rest of my suitemates too for not defending Allison. T apparently has access to the key room. Which means she also has a master key, and has access to my room. Which means as soon as I finish writing this, I am going to go hide all my valuables because I honest-to-god don't trust her. The people who stole Allison's stuff- I honestly think that was also T because the only people who we don't know who go into that room are Allison, T, and T's creepy, angry-drunk friends.

I am starting to get pissed off at these girls too. For saying its okay to beat your children when they are disobedient. And for saying its wrong to be bisexual. And its okay to believe that abortion is wrong, but honestly I do not like it when they start lecturing me about how I should not support a woman's right to choose because I am a baby-killer. I just try to avoid these topics, but they bring them up all the time, and I just want them to leave me along, and I just want to go home and never see half of them again.

It has recently come to my attention that Arden Spencer and I are twins. We are both addicted to incrediably trashy romance novels. In 2006 thus far, I have read 53 and a half books, 3 of which were quality reading, 2 of which were decent, and 48 and a half of which contained what appeared to be a nearly naked man and woman entwined in a passionate embrase on the inside cover.

I remember that back in like, 8th grade, I would make my friends check the non-inappropriate covered one out for me from the library.

Speaking of which, it also recently occured to me that according to facebook, I was hooking up with a lot of random people when I was 8.

I went out to an Indian restaurant tonight with a guy that I knew from a class last sememster. I think to him it was a date. He asked me in the library, and then afterward left - until he walked back in 2 minutes later and said that he forgotten that he actually had to go to the library too. Either way, am not sure. I will consult with Mark and we will figure this out. Because I get nervous in situations such as that because you can't be like, I HAVE A BOYFRIEND, because then they are like god, all I did was ask you for a pencil or something. Plus what if he really was just asking as a friend, and then you've gone and made a mess of things. But if they don't know, and suddently they are trying to turn your nice meal into the inside cover of one of the previously mentioned books, what do you do then????

On a completely unrelated note, I got a beautiful new bathing suit.

Alex, Alison, and I went shopping today and it was positively wonderful!!!!!

I like it when I am friends with my suitemates because sometimes I feel left out like when Brooke walks in and asks Alex to do something and just completely ignores me.

I got:
-2 shirts ($6 each marked down from $20)
-a Tommy Hilfiger green purse ($20 marked down from...alot)
-a pair of heals from Payless ($9!!!!!!)
-a pair of pants from this random department store called Belk in a crazy European size that confused me ($30 down from $50)
- a very short skirt ($15)

All in all it was lovely.

I went 5 1/2 miles yesterday. Someday I will be as awesome as I used to be.

I should move to Denmark where people have a 37 hour work week.

Or to Iceland to become a hairdresser because they are supposidly the happiest people on earth.

Today one of my suitemates and I went to the shopping center because she needed some items from CVS in the form of...lubricant. But she didn't have a CVS card and my family does, so we decided that we would purchase it as a group activity so I could type in my phone number. And the guy at the counter definately thought we were planning on using it together in yet another group activity. The highlight of my day.

From Kate:
List 10 things you like, and 10 things that you don't, and then tag 5 people you know.
Like
1. soccer
2. Veronica Mars
3. Dippin Dots
4. my new dress
5. my other new dress
6. my mom's new shoes
7. Audrey Hepburn
8. my kittens
9. Thai food
10. seeing people

Don't
1. Chemistry
2. dirty bathrooms
3. cleaning women who empty the recycling can into the regular trash can because they are too lazy to do their job properly
4. also cleaning women who are supposed to clean your bathroom daily but don't and thus there is mold in your shower
5. Dads who stand behind you while you are on the computer and tell you not to post personal information because it will result in identity theft
6. Chemistry Lab
7. when I can steal wireless internet from the neighbors in one spot but not if I shift two inches to the left
8. pressure of finding a "quality" summer job
9. hitting my knee on the gas station pump and having a massive bruise as a result
10. spoiled children who scream in the craft store when they don't get what they want until their mother gives in and thus they will continue to do this in every store for the rest of their life

Bam!!! Who said that in the first season of the OC they were in 11th grade, and then in the 3rd season they were in 12th grade and so what was going on inbetween??? Well in episode 8 of season one when Marissa was being analyzed by the shrink person during the summer, they talk about how she was anorexic in 9th grade and then she was caught shop-lifting in 10th grade, and then like a week later she starts school. Which would therefore be 11th grade. Which is why I win in life and am good at picking out such disagreements in TV shows.

Slash apparently I look like the wife of some 35 year-old guy who I was sitting beside at a hockey game.

School has started and seems okay.

Before I came back to school I checked out THe Historian by Elizabeth Kostova (on Benn's recommendation) and it is fantastic. But I accidentally got the large print and it makes me dizzy.

Today was odd. Brooke asked me to come with her and Alex for breakfast and we hung out for like an hour. And it was fun. And am not sure what to make of it.

I have a french test tomorrow. Eck.

I also made another scarf for me and it is fantastic.

I got a pair of flats for Old Navy. Originally $20 down to $3.50. Awesome. And they were the pair that I wanted to get back in September.

Mark was in a car crash yesterday. He was rushing a wee bit because he was being a good boyfriend and making me books on CD for me to listen to for when I am at the GYM or whatever. And I didn't know this and so got a bit annoyed because he hadn't called - except he actually had but my mom answered my phone and didn't bother to tell me. So I felt horrible. And terrified. But he is okay and I think the other person was to even though they had to go to the hospital. But he doesn't have a car and neither does the other person.

He eventually arrived to my house safe and sound and came with me to school for the night along with my parents. Although his mouth was twice as big as usual because of where the airbag hit him.

It was scary.

But luckily, it was not his fault the other person was turning to go in the opposite direction and they were just sitting perpendicular to the road in his lane. And he couldn't stop in time and so he hit them. But the police said it was their fault.

Break was busy. My mom decided that she wanted to redecorate and so for an entire week my time was devoted to getting new couches for both upstairs and down, new curtains for the kitchen/dining room, new curtains for her bedroom at the beach house, new paint for the kitchen/dining room, new paint for the living room, and so on. And we got our carpet cleaned and so I took nearly everything out of my room and it is once again fully organized. Of course, all of this stuff takes like 8 weeks to arrive. Eh well.

Have just witnessed a banana eating contest in the 120s.  Twenty bananas in 20 minutes.  Doesn't sound to bad but it was traumatic to watch.  All the dining halls are now out of bananas.

Tomorrow: Whole milk

Ew.

The snow is almost gone and it is sad.  But classes are over and we just have reading days until all of our finals are over.  We have quiet time right now.  No music no talking no boys and especially no Dunn running.  Poor Veronica now has to wear headphones.  Byebye Scotty.

I cannot wait to go home!!!!!!

And I have overcome my fear of going into the GYM by myself.  I did that this morning.  It was scary.  Because everybody there is just so intense about it and I need Veronic or Lauren to make me less terrified.  Eh well.  They have finals.

My mom sent me a package with a lime green alluminum tree in it.  It was awesome.  We get along much better now that we do not live in the same house.  We probably also talk to each other more now as well.

I need to stop zoning out and go finish all those medieval india essays but it is not happening.  I think I need a break.  But its hard to have a break without making any noise.  The clicking of my keys right now is echoing since its so quiet.  Eck.
